Freshwater Prawns

Colossal Freshwater Prawns have a firm, substantial texture and naturally sweet, lobster-like flavor. Farm-raised in Bangladesh, these shell-on prawns are deveined and sized at approximately 6–8 prawns per pound, creating an impressive centerpiece for seafood dinners.

Their large size makes them especially well suited to grilling, broiling, butterflying or roasting. Cook them with the shell on to help retain moisture and flavor, or split them before cooking for easy seasoning and presentation.
